Sant Iodine 10 Solution, containing 1% active iodine and 20 to 40 ppm molecular (free) iodine, is considered an iodine disinfectant. This product has a strong effect on most bacteria and fungi, and with its broad impact on both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, especially adenovirus, it is considered a broad-spectrum disinfectant.
Other features of Sant Iodine 10 include its non-damaging effects on skin and sensitive surfaces. This product can be used to disinfect surfaces, food containers, poultry equipment, livestock facilities, and for disease control. It is also suitable for controlling epidemic diseases such as Newcastle disease, brucellosis, salmonella, and other contagious diseases.
Usage Method
Dilute with water according to the consumer's purpose as follows:
- 1 to 2% for cleaning and disinfecting milking machines, food containers, and all poultry and livestock equipment.
- 0.5 to 1% for broiler and layer poultry farms.
- 4 to 6% for controlling epidemic diseases such as Newcastle disease, brucellosis, salmonella, and other contagious diseases.
- 2% for disinfecting all surfaces.
- 30% for teat dipping using a teat cup after each milking session.
- 1% for washing teats before milking.
- 0.02% for disinfecting drinking water for poultry and large livestock.
